Captain Yashika Tyagi - Speaker Profile
Ex - Indian Army Officer | Kargil War Veteran | Warrior Mindset & Leadership Coach | TEDx & Josh Talks Speaker | Defence Analyst on Zee News, News Nation, NewsX, First India and various other national news channels.
Yashika is an Ex-Army Short Service Commissioned lady officer from the very initial batches of the Indian Army with varied experience in administration, human resource development, man-management of different class-composition, mass inventory accounting and provisioning of stores, equipment including ammunition.
Capt Yashika has had the proud privilege of being the first lady officer of the Indian Army to be posted at snowbound/High Altitude areas of Leh/Kargil and has participated actively during Operation-Vijay (commonly known as the Kargil War) (1999) and successfully supervised the security of logistic installation, Ammunition dumps and other sensitive areas with no untoward incident of a security breach of any kind.
During the battle, Yashika was in the second trimester of pregnancy, but this did not deter her inner strength to perform as the daughter of the soil. She lives by the motto it’s the mindset that matters!
After hanging up her boots, Yashika became a proud Veteran and served as Director, ECHS Polyclinic, A Ministry of Defence Project where she faced challenges peculiar to insurgency prone areas. of Jorhat (Assam) and Srinagar( J.K ).
Furthermore, she served as the Principal of “Asha School ‘, Patna, Bihar, a school for Differently Abled Children and their amalgamation into mainstream society. This is the experience that has been the biggest changemaker in her personality. The takeaways were so positive and strong. The faith in the inner core of the human spirit has become iron-clad, ever since.
Now, Capt Yashika is a Story Teller on her YouTube Channel ‘Shaurya Tales’ where she narrates the stories of Brave hearts of the Indian Armed Forces, daredevil military operations and shares how leadership evolves in crisis situations to motivate the youth of India.
Over the past few years, Yashika has been working with numerous organisations as a Motivational Speaker & Leadership Coach. She have given 200+ talks with multiple organisations such as Infosys, DanFoss, Axis Bank Mutual Fund, Tata Strategic Management Group ,Globant, Bain & Co. CatFit etc
She has conducted 400+ webinars during the COVID-19 pandemic on mental toughness and building a survival mindset.
Yashika loves to build conversations around storytelling, building a warrior mindset and women empowerment.
