Meet Raja Choudhury
Raja Choudhury is a National Film Award winning filmmaker; Webby honored digital disruptor, TED and TEDx speaker and popular meditation teacher who lives between New Delhi and New York. Raja’s films, talks, and workshops are centered on radical new approaches to Indian Wisdom, Meditation, Creativity and the new frontiers of Neuroscience.
In the digital world, Raja has created numerous Webby Award-winning campaigns in the UK, US and India for global brands including Coldwell Banker, Sony Entertainment, OurWeddingDay.com, Coca-Cola and BT. His film “The Quantum Indians” on Bose, Raman and Saha, was awarded the Rajat Kamal at the 2014 National Film Awards and his film “Yoga Harmony with Nature” was India and the UN’s official film for the first International Day of Yoga in 2015.
Raja is the first Indian filmmaker to secure a co-production agreement with PBS, America’s Public Television Network, to broadcast and distribute in 2017 his forthcoming film “First Guru” on Swami Vivekananda and the story of how Yoga and Vedanta first entered the popular American conversation. In his teachings, talks and workshops, Raja combines ancient Indian wisdom with a deep modern understanding of neuroscience, the unconscious mind and biology. Raja is currently exploring new ways to open our Third Eye, hack our own consciousness and explore expanded inner creativity and intuition.
