Randi Zuckerberg is the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media. Since starting the company, she has hosted social productions and led the development of projects for number of prestigious organizations including BeachMint, the Clinton Global Initiative, Cirque du Soleil, The Tony Blair Faith Foundation and the UN Foundation.
Randi’s newest endeavor is the launch of a lifestyle website and online community, Dot Complicated. Serving as the Editor-in-Chief, Randi shares posts that cut through the clutter and untangle the wired lives of mothers. In Fall 2013, she released her first two books, Dot Complicated and the children’s book Dot. The New York Times best-seller Dot Complicated combines Randi’s personal and professional experience with an examination of how technology affects our lives on and offline.
As one of the early employees at Facebook, Randi created and ran the social media pioneer’s marketing program. She led the company’s U.S. election and international politics strategy and created Facebook’s live streaming capability through media partnerships during the 2008 Presidential Inauguration. Randi was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 for her innovative coverage of the 2010 mid-term elections that integrated online and TV coverage in unique formats.
Randi has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, the Today show, Bloomberg News, and ABC’s World News. She was also a correspondent for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards and for the World Economic Forum in Davos. The same year, Randi was appointed to the United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council, the World Economic Forum’s Global Council on Social Media and the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors Commission on Innovation.
Randi holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Harvard University and lives in Palo Alto with her husband and son.
