Meet Robert Whittaker

Rob is the founder and principal of Shared Future. He has extensive experience in executive development, with a special focus on structuring long-term leadership programs for advanced managers and executives. He is an experienced executive coach, lecturer in strategy and change, group facilitator and corporate education specialist. Rob was a senior member of faculty at Manchester Business School‘s Executive Development Centre, designing and teaching executive programs for corporate clients and entrepreneurs, and strategy for the school‘s MBA in Entrepreneurship program. He ran French-Italian semiconductor firm ST Microelectronic‘s global leadership programs while in France and for five years headed the firm‘s corporate university in Asia, covering 55,000 employees. He has also started and run several successful businesses, in manufacturing and services.

Rob is an accredited ontological coach with Newfield Network (USA), in feedback coaching with Centre for Creative Leadership, and qualified with the Corporate Coach University. He is a regular speaker and chairperson at international conferences in Asia. He holds/has held Adjunct and Associate positions with:

Rob holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He has run several successful businesses in manufacturing and services. Rob is British and a Permanent Resident of Singapore, in an Eurasian marriage. He has great East-West cross-cultural sensitivity.
