Saket has been awarded the title of "Indian Ambassador of Cyber Security in Education" at the National Education Awards 2013. Over last 5 years, he along with his team have been conducting training and consultancy sessions across the globe.
He is a visiting faculty on subjects of information systems and security at multiple universities in South Asia and North America. At a young age, he has already trained more than 5000 individuals across 100 plus Colleges, Corporates & Government Departments. Multiple Fortune 500 companies, Intelligence Agencies, Special Task Forces etc have been availing his services from time to time. Saket is also an advisor to reputed banks, oil & gas companies and e-commerce portals in designing and deploying safe cyber architectures for their business. He was a part of Government of India's committee constituted in 2014 for preparation of vocational course for the new sector "Cyber Security" for National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) under Ministry of Human Resource Development's body AICTE.. He was also a part of the core team that developed a smartphone privacy app - UnHack. Saket was born and raised in Calcutta. He started programming at the age of 14. In the year 2009, he joined the LNM Institute of Information Technology for Engineering as a Computer Science Major. Before starting Lucideus, Saket initiated his career by giving seminars and workshops on ethical hacking and cyber forensics across India. His workshops gradually became popular, as a result of which he was invited to more than 100 colleges across the globe Some of the major Institutions who have hosted his workshops include IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIT Guwahati, Jadavpur University. Saket has personally trained more than 5000 students on Cyber Security. He is a regular speaker on various verticals of Information Security & Entrepreneurship at International Forums like CeBIT(Germany), Confederation of Indian Industry, Cyber Tech (Israel),ASSOCHAM,Data Security Council of India, ISACA, TiE,TED (conference). |
