Viren Rasquinha - Profile
Viren Rasquinha is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of Indian Hockey. Viren is a Former India Hockey Captain, Olympian and Arjuna Awardee who has Played almost 180 International matches for India in a career spanning 9 years including the Athens 2004 Olympics as well as the World Cup, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. Viren Retired from Hockey in 2007. Did his MBA from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, Class of 2009. - Currently Viren is the MD & CEO of Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ), a not for profit foundation with the Mission to win Olympic Gold medals for India. OGQ under Viren's leadership have played a key role in 5 out of the 8 medals India won in 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
Viren Rasquinha Was selected as one of the 40 under 40 top Business Leaders in the country by Economic Times in association with Spencer Stuart. Viren was on the PMO Task Force along with Pullela Gopichand & Abhinav Bindra that prepared the roadmap for India’s preparations for the next 3 Olympics in Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024 and LA 2028
Viren is an Olympian,former captain of the Indian national Hockey team.Viren quit international hockey to pursue an MBA at ISB and since 2009, he has been the CEO of Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ)

He was also the captain of the Maratha Warriors in the Premier Hockey League for 4 consecutive years from 2005-2008 and played for Stuttgart Kickers in the German Bundesliga in the 2007-08 season.After his retirement in 2008, Viren did his MBA at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad which is ranked 15th in the world in the Financial Times (FT) world rankings for MBA schools. He has a dual major in Marketing and Strategy.
