Varun Mayya, one of the youngest entrepreneurs in India to raise venture capital funding, draws a path for all those who want to succeed. Previously having found JobSpire, and currently the CEO of Avalon Labs. Varun Mayya is the CEO and Founder of Avalon Labs. He is one of the youngest entrepreneur in India to raise Venture Capital funding for his startup at the age of 20.

Varun Mayya started his entrepreneurial journey while studying at Manipal Institute of Technology. Varun first started a t-shirt manufacturing company called SIZER. At the same time, he also worked as a freelancer for clients in the USA. He founded Jobspire in 2014 along with Mohak Dhingra, Kartik Luke Singh, and Sandesh Kini. Jobspire, a recruitment company, raised an investment of $262000 in seed funding by six venture capitalists. The company served over 4 million requests in 2016 and was acquired by JustCode in 2017.
Avalon Meta was founded by Varun Mayya, Shashank Udupa, and Abhinav Arora. Avalon Meta describes itself as a hybrid between an education and gaming company. The Avalon Meta app contains free courses in the fields of finance, marketing, coding, sales, design, etc., many of which are taught by the founders themselves. It raised 420k USD led by a blockchain-based gaming company Peerplays. It currently has a student community of 45000 members whose goals are to advance in career and help others in learning new skills along the way.
