Vinita Bali Speaker - ProfileVinita Bali is a global business leader with extensive experience in leading large companies, both in India and overseas. She has worked with eminent multinationals like The Coca-Cola Company and Cadbury Schweppes PLC in a variety of marketing and general management roles in the UK, Nigeria, South Africa, Chile and the USA, in addition to Britannia Industries Ltd., in India.
Currently, Vinita is pursuing her interests in the corporate and development sectors, through a portfolio of roles and responsibilities, both in India and overseas. She is a Non-Executive Director on the global Boards of Syngenta International AG; Smith & Nephew plc; Chairman of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and on the Advisory Board of Cornell University’s Department of Nutritional Science. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of several companies in India – CRISIL Ltd, Titan Industries Ltd and Kasturi & Sons Ltd; and is a Member of the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore. Vinita is among 27 global leaders appointed by the UN to help improve maternal and child health as part of its SUN (Scaling up Nutrition) initiative. Vinita is a speaker at several industry and academic forums in India and overseas and has spoken at global events like Chocovision and Agrovision in Europe; at several UN events in the US and Europe and at industry events in India, Singapore, Europe and the USA. |
